I hope you had a great weekend! The Valentine's Day party will be this Friday from 2:40 to the end of the day. Your child may bring Valentine's cards to pass out. We currently have 21 students in our class. An ingredient list will be emailed out shortly.
SCIENCE-We're continuing our study of the human body. Last week we did some activities that got the kids' heart rates up and they measured their pulses. We will be doing some activities this week related to the respiratory system.
FIFTH GRADE SERVICE PROJECT-The 5th graders are excited to announce that their service project this year will benefit the patients at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. They will be collecting donations (fleece blankets and craft packets) for the patients at Lurie Children's during the week of February 9-13. All students are welcome to donate.
