I hope you had a great week! It was great to see so many of you at Curriculum Night on Wednesday. If you were unable to make it or if you wanted to reference anything from the presentation, here is the link of what was shared.
Friday folders will be coming home today! Be sure to take all graded papers out of the pockets; these are papers we no longer need at school- you may file them away or recycle them after looking them over with your student. The permission slip for our field trip to Naper Settlement should have come home in the Friday folder. Please return this and your payment as soon as possible. Please leave the paper in the middle prongs in the Friday folder. You will sign this sheet each week. Friday folders should return to school the following Monday (or Tuesday, if Monday is a holiday).
If you would like to order from the Scholastic Book Club, you may return your order form and payment to me or you may order online. Our class code for online ordering is: GXQNW. I typically submit orders on the 15th of every month.
Speaking of Edmodo… in your student’s Friday folder, your student should have brought home a letter about how you can create and link a parent account to your student’s account. If you have any questions on how to do this or would like more information about Edmodo, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
A tech contract was also sent home in your student’s Friday folder. This was reviewed in class with students; it would be great for you to review this at home, as well!
