The Fifth Grade musical was awesome! The nighttime performance was one of the best ones in quite some time! World of Work was a tremendous success. The kids had a great time and learned a lot. MAP testing is this week. Our class will test on Tuesday morning for math and Wednesday afternoon for reading.
SOCIAL STUDIES-We will finish our simulation, Pioneers, this week. The kids have really enjoyed learning about westward expansion and life on the trail during this unit.
ADVANCED MATH-The Unit 9 test was last week. We will begin Unit 10 on Wednesday.
READING-We will finish Children of the Wild West this week and prepare for the test that will be given on Monday.
From the front office... Monday, May 2 all families received an email with information for registering for school for 2016 - 2017. ALL FAMILIES HAVE TO REGISTER EVERY YEAR.
Registration is due June 1. You must print the Annual Verification of Residency, then submit to the office three proofs of residency.
Go to the district website (www.sd25.org) The very first thing you will see is "Online Registration is now open." Go to "Register Now." You will need your child's SnapCode number. The SnapCode number is in the May 2 email letter.
**Note: Any forms that need to be submitted must be submitted to the building where students will be attending the 2016-2017 school year; that means all 5th grade students attending South next year need to send forms into South, not Dryden.**
