Welcome to 5-2! I hope you had a great summer and that you’re feeling excited about beginning fifth grade. My name is Mr. Holston, and I am thrilled to be your classroom teacher for the 2016-2017 school year. I am so excited to be entering my fourteenth year at Dryden.
It’s hard to believe how quickly this summer has gone. Here's a little about myself. I have 4 children of my own. My oldest son, Patrick, is in his senior year of college at Milwaukee School of Engineering. He will graduate this spring with a bio-molecular degree. Peter is nineteen and he is in the transition program at Antioch Community High School. Claire is a senior at ACHS and she will studying education when she graduates. Jack is a sophomore at ACHS and is running cross country this year. We are cat people and we have four cats!
Don’t forget, the ice cream social/classroom visit night will be on Thursday, August 25th from 5:00 to 6:30pm. I’ll be in our classroom (Room 124) from 5:00 until 5:45, eager to meet you. Ice cream will be served from 5:45 until 6:30.
