We had a very successful start to our PARCC testing this week. We have 3 more sessions next week. Thank you for making sure your kids are in school for the testing sessions and that they are feeling their best by helping to ensure they get a good night's sleep, a full, healthy breakfast, and have a water bottle ready to go! Conference slips with your scheduled time were sent home a couple of weeks ago. Please be sure to check with your child if you have not seen that form yet! If you have any conflict with your scheduled time, please let me know ASAP. As a reminder, students will not have school on Thursday, March 22nd or Friday, March 23rd as those are the parent/teacher conference days.
Tuesday, March 13th is our Basketball shoot-out! Please be sure you have returned any pledge forms by then.
We begin our Poetry unit this week!
We have wrapped up our unit on Investigating Matter. We will begin our next Social Studies unit on Westward Expansion after Spring Break.
We WILL have a normal week of vocabulary and grammar the week of 3/12. The week after, when we have a short week for parent/teacher conferences, (3/19) we will not do vocabulary or grammar.
