Just a short blog this week!  Please be sure to return the Robert Crown permission slips as soon as possible.  If you have not returned the Halloween lunch slip, you can just email me and let me know if your child is staying at Dryden or going home for lunch on Halloween.  

SOCIAL STUDIES-The History Alive! Chapter 13 test is on Tuesday.  We started reviewing on Friday.  There are resources on Edmodo to help your child prepare.

CHARACTER COUNTS-We're doing CC this week.  Your child can wear different colors to match the pillars.  Monday is yellow for respect.  Tuesday is red for caring.  Wednesday is blue for trust.  Thursday is orange for fairness, and Friday is purple for citizenship.

Please return the Robert Crown permission slips as soon as possible.  Also, please return the Halloween lunch slips so that we may know whether your child is going home or staying at Dryden for lunch on Halloween.  Thank you for all of your kind words and thoughts as I have been going through my recent battle with kidney stones.  It has been very difficult for the kids, but they have been awesome throughout!  Having a substitute teacher is never easy, and not having consistency is bad for everyone.  Your children were amazing and I could not be more proud of them.  I am almost at the end of my ordeal.  My stent comes out Tuesday afternoon and I should be back to normal!

SOCIAL STUDIES-The Chapter 12 test was on Friday.  There will be a retest this week.  We start our study of the Revolutionary War this week.

LA-We are back to a normal schedule for grammar, spelling, and vocabulary this week.

ADVANCED MATH-We will finish the Unit 2 test on Monday.
