CHILDREN of the WILD WEST-We will be finishing up our study of westward expansion this week by completing the nonfiction book Children of the Wild West. There will be an assessment on Friday.
SMALL GROUP NOVELS-The kids will be finishing their novels this week and starting to work on an ABC book project.
MUSICAL-The musical is this Wednesday at 7:00. Please have the kids here no earlier than 6:45.
WALK TO SCHOOL-Wednesday is Walk to School Day!
JUST MOVE IT-All Dryden families and community members are invited to participate in the ABC/25 Just Move it! Challenge 5 K Run & 1 Mile Run/Walk

Proceeds go towards Teacher Grant projects. Approximately $50,000 was awarded this past year. Dryden received Bee-bots, straw rockets, document cameras, Osmo technology, bridge-building kits, Arb-bots and props for dramatic play.
The elementary school with highest percentage of families participating gets to display the coveted "shoe trophy" at their school. So far, over 77 participants are representing Dryden!
Over 75 volunteers are needed. Volunteer participation counts towards the shoe tropy.
