I hope you were able to outside and enjoy the nice weather that we finally had this past weekend! Is it time to say goodbye to winter?
SOCIAL STUDIES-we will be finishing up our unit on westward expansion from the History Alive! book this week. A study guide will be sent home in preparation for the test.
INTEGRATED UNIT-we are starting an integrated unit on pioneers and westward expansion that will include reading, writing, and social studies. The reading part will be both whole-group and small-group and it will also include a read aloud book. The kids will additionally be participating in a simulation that has them traveling west as part of a wagon train.
