I hope you all had a great extra-long weekend! There will no spelling, grammar, or vocabulary this week.
ADVANCED MATH-The Unit 5 test is planned for this Friday. We will be reviewing Wednesday and Thursday. If the kids need more review, we can put the test off until Monday.
SCIENCE-The kids made model limbs last week to show the different types of joints: hinge, ball and socket, fixed, and pivot. We will be doing some activities this week involving the nervous system.
READING-We begin our novel studies this week. During small-group, the kids will be working on a revolutionary war novel at their reading level. We will be meeting once or twice a week to discuss the novel and any questions. During whole-group, we will start a unit on fiction.

If your child has a younger sibling, or you know a neighbor eligible for kindergarten next year (The child must be five before September 1, 2016.) please call the office now to request a registration packet. Kindergarten registration day is February 9.
