A heartfelt thank you to everyone for the incredibly generous class gift! I am so fortunate to work with such a wonderful, sweet group of kids and to work with such thoughtful families. I truly appreciate the generosity and kindness! I ended up purchasing clamps from Rockler because a woodworker can never have enough clamps!
After break we will continue our grammar and vocabulary routines, although our vocabulary will be a review of the first 12 prefixes and roots. Students will still need to write sentences and answer vocabulary questions on Edmodo, but it will be slightly different as these assignments will cover a sampling from all 12 weeks.
Monday- all assignments given (vocabulary sentences, vocabulary assignment on Edmodo,
grammar packet)
Tuesday- vocabulary sentences due on Edmodo
Thursday- vocabulary assignment on Edmodo due, grammar packet due
Friday- vocabulary and grammar quizzes
Students with numbers 1-12 have their next Vlog due on Friday, January 11. The directions, topic choices, and rubric for assessing them can be found here.
CogAT reports were sent home with students on Wednesday. If you did not receive your report or if you have questions, please let me know.
