I hope everyone enjoyed our extra long weekend.
TREASURES-We will have a normal Treasures week. The spelling and grammar will be due on Thursday as usual and the Treasures, spelling, and grammar assessments will be Friday. The only difference this week is that there is one less day to work on the spelling and grammar assignments.
NOVELS-We have finished the first group of novels and we will begin round 2 this week. The children will either be reading Hatchet, The Mysterious Benedict Society, The Westing Game, Pictures of Hollis Woods, or Brian's Winter.
SCIENCE-The energy unit is finished, but the final projects are not quite done yet. They will be finished this week and posted for your enjoyment. They will also be available to view during conferences.
SOCIAL STUDIES-We are headed back to history and the Declaration of Independence this week.
Please return your conference confirmation slips if you have not done so.
Thursday is a Monday schedule.
We have LMC this week on Tuesday, so please remember to bring in you library books.
I will be attending a conference on Wednesday. It is on implementing Common Core State Standards.
