SCIENCE-We began working on a culminating project last week. The kids are working on creating a Rube Goldberg type gizmo on a animation application that uses energy transfers. We will finish the project this week and begin preparing for the Unit test.
ADVANCED MATH-The mean score for the Unit 3 test was an 85%! The retest for those interested is Wednesday at lunch recess.
TREASURES-This will be a normal Treasures week. Spelling and grammar will be due on Thursday and all three tests will be on Friday.
If you have not returned your conference confirmation slip yet, please do so as soon as possible.
On Wednesday we will be watching Monsters University and having a pajama day. The kids may also bring a pillow or a stuffed animal to school. They will also be allowed to bring a healthy snack choice (popcorn/pretzels) to eat during the movie. This is a reward they have earned for good classroom behavior.
Our trip to Camp Duncan was excellent. The rain held off until the very end and the kids had a great tim doing team building exercises, mountain bike riding through wooded trails, and climbing a 50 foot tower. Enjoy some pictures of our trip!
Have a great Dolphin week!
