In reading, we will begin our Fiction unit next week. Numbers 11-19 will have a reading log due on Friday, October 20th. In order to be "on track" for the 40 book challenge, the students should each average 4-5 books per month. This means that by the end of the month, we hope students have read 8-10 books. This includes books they read at school and at home, our Read Aloud in class, and your family reading of A Nest for Celeste when you are finished with it!
Next week we will have vocabulary and grammar again. Sentences will be due on Wednesday, vocabulary practice questions and grammar packets will be due on Thursday, and quizzes will be on Friday. The Quizlet and assignments will be posted to Edmodo over the weekend if anyone wants to get a head start.
The History Alive Chapter 12 test will be on Thursday. A study guide will be handed out on Tuesday.
If you have not returned the Robert Crown permission slips, please do so as soon as possible.
