Welcome to October! I'm not sure where September has gone. We had a great time at Naper Settlement. The kids were wonderful and the weather could not have been better. Make sure you check out some pictures here.
The children did an absolutely fantastic job in the Loyalist vs. Patriot debate. There was no clear winner this year.
As a reminder, hot lunch will not be available for 5th graders on Friday, due to the timing of the field trip. If you would like to order a sack lunch for your student, please let me know by Monday so we can let Food Services know. We will be eating at Dryden, so students bringing a lunch from home can still use their lunch boxes and reusable containers this day.
Permission slips for Camp Duncan were sent home on Friday. Please return these as soon as possible. The Camp Duncan trip is October 10, so it is imperative all forms and payments are returned this week before the long weekend.
